A Prayer for Making the right decision or choice.
Let us pray . . .
In Jesus name, in Jesus mighty name
Lord give me the Wisdom, understanding and courage to make the right decision or choice, Lord I need to make up my mind and I do not want to make the wrong choice, help me and lead me lord, I lay this decision before you now (regarding - insert what it is regarding here) ,
Your Word Says:
James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.
Lord, I am asking therefore give me the wisdom to make the right decision.
Psalm 25:4
Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths.
Lord lead me, show me your ways and teach me the right path, so that I can make decisions and choices that will be beneficial to my life and those important to me.
2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness
God give me revelation, regarding what I should do or know, help me to make decisions and choices for my life based on the wisdom of your word.
1 Corinthians 14:33
For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.
Lord, You are not the author of confusion remove all confusion from this situation in Jesus mighty name.
Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Lord, please give me a spirit of discernment and renew my mind, give me fresh insight and understanding.
Isaiah 3:10
Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their labor.
Lord I am yours, keep me in your righteousness that it will be well with me and I will enjoy the fruit of my labour in this decision
Isaiah 54:17
No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
Lord, when I am seeking to make decisions or changes in my life, silence those that discourage me, set traps for me, make me feel low, less than or will give me ad counsel.
Matthew 19:26
But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Lord your word says that there are things that seem impossible. I may even believe that there are things that are beyond me or more than I feel I deserve but lord I am asking that you show me that what I want, need or seek as long as not against your word, is possible, because with You, God all things are possible!.
1 Peter 5:8
Be sober minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Help me to be sober- minded in my decision remembering that the enemy has a plan for me but so do You, mighty God.
2 Corinthians 1:17
Was I fickle when I intended to do this? Or do I make my plans in a worldly manner so that in the same breath I say both “Yes, yes” and “No, no”?
Lord help me to make up my mind about what I am doing, so that I may be sure in my decision and trust the choice that I have made.
Habakkuk 2:2
And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
Lord, give me vision with my decision to see how the choice that I will make today will build me tomorrow, give me the inspiration to dream big and then to be able to break my vision down in to something I can write down and come back to in order to give me the power to push forward with it.
2 John 1:8
Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded
Your word helps me to remember to take my time so that I do not make a rushed decision, that would make me miss out on what I have worked for and forget that I had a vision and a bigger plan.
Proverbs 4:5
Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them.
Lord I am ready to get wisdom and understanding now, about this situation, reveal to me what I need to know and understand here and also, bring to my remembrance all that you have taught before.
Proverbs 18:15
The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out.
Lord, send me divine helpers, people from you and of you who will support me and give me wise counsel or an encouraging word.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
Lord give me peace regarding my decisions and choices that I will not worry once I have decided or chosen.
Revelation 12:11
And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.
Lord as I have prayed today about the decision I have to make, I trust you lord that you will do all that you have said and I will surely come back to testify to what you would have done in my life. Others will be inspired knowing that I am Yours and you choose to do great things in my life, thank you my mighty Father.
